You already know what's broken

Reviews happen once a year and surprise everyone.

Twelve months of work reduced to one uncomfortable meeting. Too late to change anything.

Feedback is vague, late, or missing entirely.

Not because people don't care. Because nobody taught them how.

Goals are set in January and forgotten by March.

No tracking, no check-ins, no connection to actual performance.

Good work goes unnoticed until the exit interview.

Nobody remembers to say well done. Then they wonder why people leave.

That's what Perform. replaces.

Built for humans, not compliance

1

Set your values

Define what good looks like at your company. Perform. uses your language, not ours.

2

Run your cycle

Self-assessments, guided feedback, scored reviews. Everyone knows what to do and when.

3

Watch people grow

Development plans trigger automatically. Goals get tracked. Nobody slips through the cracks.

Everything your team needs. Nothing they don't.

Feedback that lands

Five guided steps. Specific, kind, and useful. No training required.

Reviews worth having

A real conversation with an agenda. Sixty minutes that change something.

Growth that sticks

Development plans trigger automatically based on performance level. No one slips through.

Recognition people see

Kudos tied to your values. Thirty seconds to send, remembered for months.

The real mood

Anonymous pulse surveys. Patterns you can act on before they become resignations.

AI that helps you think

Summarises feedback, spots patterns, nudges before deadlines slip. Does the prep so you can focus on the conversation.

Most tools want AI to write your review. We don't.

The point of a performance review is to think about someone. If AI does the thinking, you've just automated the part that matters.

AI writes your feedback

That's what most tools are racing towards. Generic, safe, sounds polished. Says nothing. The person reading it knows it immediately.

Most tools are heading here.

AI helps you write better feedback

Coaching tips while you write. Nudges when your feedback is vague. Summaries after you've done the thinking. Your words, sharper.

That's what Perform. does.

Feedback summaries

AI reads everything people wrote about you and finds patterns. You see themes, not a wall of text.

Coaching tips as you write

Based on brain-friendly feedback research. Guides you towards specific, actionable language without taking over.

Smart nudges

Deadlines approaching, feedback gaps, goals going stale. AI watches the signals so managers don't have to.

Review prep packs

Before a review conversation, AI assembles everything in one place. Goals, feedback, self-assessment. No scrambling.

Better tools for humans. Not a replacement for them.

Why I'm building this

I spent a decade in traditional workplaces before discovering progressive ways of working in New Zealand in 2015. I've been obsessed with how teams work ever since. Consulting, facilitating, and working with organisations across industries on feedback, culture, and how people grow.

Two things kept bothering me. Progressive organisations often skipped performance management entirely. Felt too old school. Traditional ones had the structure, but it rarely worked well. Annual surprises, vague feedback, clunky software that bolted performance on as an afterthought.

Neither side had it right. So I built a performance and feedback framework grounded in how people actually give and receive feedback, and tested it in a real organisation over twelve months.

Perform. is that framework turned into software. Fast, simple, no bloat. Performance done properly.
